Player4Player was founded on an ethos of players looking out for other players. We know the challenges of our profession, can empathise with each other’s situations and are able to utilise our experiences to help one another take the right decisions.
When we decided to create a golf day, we wanted both the event and the funds generated to have a positive impact on players. This is why we decided on the concept of participants being exclusively players and their friends with money raised going to causes that directly help players who need it.
Profits from the golf day and auction, to be held on Wednesday 7th September, will be split between Sporting Chance, a mental health charity for players set up by former Arsenal captain Tony Adams, and our own education fund which will distribute grants for educational opportunities to players preparing for their post-playing careers who require financial assistance.

As well as raising money for good causes, the day will be an opportunity for players to spend time together outside of the football environment and build connections whilst enjoying themselves.
We have chosen Mottram Hall in Cheshire as the venue for the event with its world class golf course that will be in top condition as the DP World Tour Qualifying School will be hosted there shortly after. The complex also features a state-of-the-art £10 million spa for those that wish to stay at the on-site hotel.
To ensure everyone has the best possible experience and every detail is taken care of, we have enlisted the expertise and experience of our partner All Heart to help us with the event. If you are a current or former professional player interested in entering a team or a sponsor then please get in touch as soon as possible with opportunities limited by emailing events@beallheart.com.
